Welcome!
It’s an honor to have you here in my corner of the internet.

I’m Michelle Young, a multi-hyphenate creative being,

strategist, producer, promoter and wellness professional.

My work has been featured in publications like Billboard and Variety, I’ve worked on award-winning teams that are at the forefront of trends and marketing on a global level (for experiences around major cultural moments like the Super Bowl, SXSW, the GRAMMYS, Coachella, NYFW, Hollywood Film Premieres & CES), I’ve had the opportunity to support artists like FINNEAS before they found fame and work with artists like Mix Master Mike and Pharrell after they already won their accolades, I’ve shared my music and poetry in places like the GRAMMY Museum and the Rose Bowl; and I value opportunities for connection, giving back and helping people to find their flow and be in tune far more than any of these facts.

A sweet note from FINNEAS after he and Billie (Eilish) swept the 2020 GRAMMYS.

I am a multi-disciplinary creative being, strategist, producer, promoter and wellness professional who is deeply passionate about bringing dreams into reality, helping people to find and stay in their flow, and reminding people that we are never alone in this wild human experience that we call “life”.

I’m also deeply neurodivergent, and thanks to my AuDHD, I’ve been multi-passionate and doing some form of everything that I do (creating, producing, promoting, sharing spaces for healing, etc.) since I was a child...

And I’ve always been a fan of being in a state of flow.

During the pandemic, I realized I had been too busy hustling to notice that I had truly created the life of my dreams, and had created platforms and opportunities for over 1,000 others to live their dreams as well. In January 2023, living in Puerto Vallarta (Mexico) with an ocean view, and a busy agenda of travel producing things for the GRAMMYs, Coachella and other high profile events on the horizon, in addition to plans to record my EP with a producer whose notable client list includes Dr. Dre

I FELL THROUGH A ROOF…

and my whole life changed in a non-linear process that took a lot of time
and required feeling a lot of pain.

Now, I’m on a mission to help as many people as I can to find and live in their state of flow.

And I’m bringing in a lot of the people who have most inspired me in order to create a community and resources that will help you to live your most vibrant, aligned, flow-based life.

“I’m so grateful I fell through a roof!”

What’s Going On Ahorita
(January 2025):

It’s been a wild couple of years. In January 2023, I fell through a roof in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico while volunteering at a community event. Thanks to the generosity of a lot of friends and some strangers, I’m finally able to really move again. The accident and the rehabilitation process forced me to slow down (despite my initial months-long denial and resistance to how severe it actually was), which gave me the opportunity to heal on many levels. I completed various healing-focused certifications and learned a lot along the way.
To support my recovery process, I adopted a dog named Didi. She’s the best companion (and service animal) I could have hoped for. She’s half cocker spaniel and half something else. I think she may be poodle, sometimes people say she looks Maltese. To me, she’s just Didi and I love her for being herself!
Throughout my healing process, I’ve been redefining my priorities and figuring out how to live in deeper alignment, and create space for as much time in my flow state as possible. Because of my injuries, I have no choice but to start every day stretching, moving and breathing into and through any and all tension in my body.  I’ve found that life is absolutely magical when we are in flow, and when we’re in service to the greater good and collective.
I never thought I’d say this…I’m so grateful I fell through a roof!
I’m currently in Texas grateful to be seeing family for the first time in 2 years, stoked to be meeting and connecting with beautiful community that I’m excited to collaborate with in Austin, and I’m excited about heading to Los Angeles in February. Looking forward to seeing friends, hiking and co-creating some exciting projects! Didi and I are excited that we will be spending more time split between Puerto Vallarta, Texas (specifically Austin, San Antonio and the beautiful Hill Country), and Los Angeles…and we can’t wait to expand our travels even further!
Outside of everything related to my rehabilitation process, which honestly has taken a lot of energy and time, here are a few other things I’ve been up to:

  • I’m finishing my first poetry book which will be available in early 2025 (pre-order coming soon!), it’s called “On Being Human: Reflections of the Beauty and Turmoil of Life”. There’s a special sneak peek available, and I’m sharing more in “In Tune & In Flow” soon.

  • I played shows at places like Mestizo (Bar de Artistas) in Puerto Vallarta, and at Frente al Punto Beach Club for a special festival lead-up showcase for “Sand and Strings Music Festival”.

  • Produced & Promoted the first “Festival de Las Raices del Hip Hop” in Puerto Vallarta, MX celebrating incredible artists within all 4 branches of hip hop including Ojal de Ajaw (Hijos de las Hojas)Gloria Allel (The Voice Chile), Elie Tigre and Cesar Andearan. The festival & its’ upcoming sequel include collaborations between ROVE, Flow Vallarta, Mexside Gang MX (urban lifestyle brand), Conthouse PV (& Boombap Festival), Art Box PV, La Estación Central and others.

  • Helped with some publicity for the “Fiesta del Cacao” with Ecstatic Cacao Project at Terra Noble where Mayan elders from Tabasco and Chiapas share their traditions, culture and medicine. The next cacao festival is March 2025!

  • Assisted with the development and launch of a new platform, "Noble Sessions”, with the mission of supporting musical artists by sharing live performances, currently filming at Terra Noble in Puerto Vallarta. You can watch the released videos here.

  • I started occasionally writing for Vallarta Today, an English-focused newspaper in Puerto Vallarta established in 1979.

  • Completed my KINDRÊD Meditation Teacher Training certification and started leading KINDRÊD Meditation sessions in person and online.

  • Was initiated as an Ancestral Ceremony Guide/Medicine Woman and also as a Sacred Fire Keeper with Miriam Avalos in the tradition of the Camino Rojo.

  • Completed a certification in Therapeutic Bowls with Ixshala.

  • Spent obsessive quantities of time trying to understand how to heal and integrate with my “shadows”, how to better love my “inner child” and how to live in alignment physically, spiritually, mentally and emotionally…I’m grateful to continue in this process.

On Being Human: Reflections on the Beauty and Turmoil of Life-

The human experience is such a vast and varied one. It is comprised of love and heartbreak, joy and pain, courage and fear, and ideally the overarching theme through it all is growth. This collection of poems is a reflection of the human experience. There are poems inspired by depression, fear, death and heartbreak. There are poems inspired by love, joy, hope and life. They are poems inspired by the highest of highs and lowest of lows on this wild roller coaster of life.

Want to feel good? Better manage your emotions? Feel prepared for a big show, presentation or audition? Meet KINDRÊD Meditation!

  • Kindrêd Meditation is a creative and somatic meditation practice that uses human connection, mirror neurons and movement to help us to control our emotions. The practice allows us to transmute our emotions/energy and create the energy we want to embody. It’s fantastic as a tool for grounding, for manifesting and for preparing ourselves for important events (meetings, presentations, shows, auditions, etc.).

“The practice is so simple it can be learned in 10 minutes, but so powerful it’s being studied by neuroscientists in 4 countries.”

    More info: feelkindred.com

  • I am offering weekly group Kindrêd Circles to the In Tune & In Flow Community. If you want to just hop in one time to check it out, you can do that too!

The In Tune & In Flow Community is a loving space with price options for every budget. I deeply believe that community and healing need to be accessible, and that money has different value for different people. $10 for one person is $1000 for another and $100 for one person is $2 for another.

  • If you have a specific presentation, show, audition or meeting you are preparing for, or if you just need a boost, I would love to support you!

  • In Person Sessions are available depending on where I am at the moment. I primarily facilitate Kindrêd experiences in Puerto Vallarta (Jalisco, Mexico), Austin (Texas, USA) and Los Angeles (California, USA).

Often, the most rebellious thing one can do is choose to live in peace & act with love.

My Background

I’m a creative professional with 17+ years of experience in freelance event production, marketing, promotion, consulting, writing, and design. I got my start in the Christian music industry and conference/festival world when I was 18. I went through an intern program at a mega-church in California, studying the Bible, ministry, production and marketing. At that same time, I also started working as a Behavioral Therapist for Autistic children, which reinforced my passion for studying Psychology. In 2014, after working for 7 years with some of the biggest names and largest events in the Christian world, I stepped down from my role in leadership at the church I helped start in Los Angeles and moved into the secular market.

Since then, I’ve worked with top agencies and brands like Enter, Refinery29, VICE, Amazon, Saban Films, Blumhouse, Disney, Fender, Render Event Design, Too Faced Cosmetics, Beyond Meat and Red Bull, non-profits like Crime Survivors for Safety and Justice (CSSJ) and Children’s Hosptital L.A. (CHLA), and with artists like Mix Master Mike, FINNEAS (with his old band ‘The Slightlys), Pharrell, Foo Fighters, Madame Gandhi, BIIANCO, Lauren Ruth Ward, and hundreds more. I’ve worked on experiences around the Super Bowl, GRAMMYS, Coachella, South-by-Southwest (SXSW), CES, New York Fashion Week (NYFW), Los Angeles Fashion Week (LAFW), VR Fest, Metabolic Health Summit, a variety of movie premieres in Hollywood, and more, touching many verticals including entertainment, culture, technology and health/wellness. I thrive under pressure, delivering creative solutions, managing complex projects, and creating meaningful experiences that drive results, fostering connection, healing, and growth wherever possible.

My work is rooted in the understanding that we are all part of a shared human experience, connected by one heart, as the elders of Mexico say—”Un Solo Corazón”. I believe we all possess the capacity for both light and shadow, and it is through embracing both that we come into wholeness. By creating opportunities for personal growth, healing, and connection, I help others find their flow and align with their true selves. I believe that the essence of our existence is grounded in love and interconnectedness. Jesus' teachings offer a powerful example of this, particularly the commandment to love others as we love ourselves. This teaching is at the core of how I approach life and my work: with compassion, understanding, and a commitment to unity.

As the Founder of ROVE LA, I bridge the gap between artists, brands, and nonprofits, building community through the arts with our mission of “supporting artists, building community and using the arts to give back”. Our projects focus on the transformative power of creativity to heal and inspire, including our 2020 GRAMMY Party with Women in Music and RoadNation, which was featured in Billboard and Variety. Through these collaborations, we’ve supported nonprofits like National Alliance on Mental Illness WLA, The Trevor Project, and Saving Innocence.

In addition to my work with ROVE LA, I’m a performing artist, sharing original music and poetry at venues like the GRAMMY Museum, Rose Bowl, and Hotel Café, as well as internationally in places like London, Berlin and Mexico. I’ve written and performed with GRAMMY-winning artists, and my poetry has been published in Local Wolves Magazine. Music and poetry are core to my creative expression and belief in art’s power to heal and inspire. I’m now releasing a collection of poetry, prose and musings from the last 8 years, it’s called, “On Being Human: ” and my hope is that it reminds all who read it that we are never alone.

I’m passionate about wellness, with certifications in therapeutic bowls and Kindrêd Meditation. I offer services like sound healing, meditation, retreats, and creative coaching to individuals and companies, integrating ancient wisdom with modern science. Having spent several years studying ancestral traditions in Mexico, I love integrating ancient wisdom with modern science, driving my holistic approach to wellness and personal growth. I believe in the interconnection of all beings, embracing both the light and dark within ourselves.

As the co-founder of Flow Vallarta, a collective in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, I support individuals in finding their flow through creativity, mindfulness, and holistic wellness practices. Flow Vallarta merges art, culture, and wellness, helping others to reconnect with their inner selves and the world around them.

I’m also an experienced bilingual MC and public speaker, hosting events like GRAMMY parties, SXSW showcases, and charity fundraisers. I’ve spoken on panels for NAMI WLA (on mental health) and Glendale Young Professionals (on entertainment), and been featured on podcasts and radio shows like We Found New Music (Dash Radio), OrejaFM, Radiante98.3FM, Losing Our Religion, and more.

If you’re looking to bring bold ideas to life, foster collaboration, or enhance wellness and creativity, I’d love to connect!

P.S. I’m also represented as a commercial actress by Eris Talent Agency.
